TIO will host a potluck party as Social Mixer at High Gate Residence in Burnaby on June 26th. It is a casual and relaxed time to mingle with everyone. Please bring a dish, snacks or desserts; you can also bring your board games, or even music instruments like guitar or harmonica to share your music talents with friends! We encourage everyone to make a dish, but if you are just getting off from work, taking out some fast food or finger food would be great too. To help saving the environment, we encourage everyone to bring your own utensils as well!

In the past two years, Meet the Future You – a career networking event for Taiwanese Canadian students, was well appreciated by many, especially the new graduates. This year, TIO is again co-hosting this wonderful event with Taiwanese student clubs from UBC and SFU. At this event, professionals from different disciplines will be answering questions from students regarding jobs and careers in Vancouver, helping them to widen their vision and steady their steps.
